Why do some men only talk abut sex during conversation?

Okay, so they only want sex when that's what they talk about - but why can't some of them talk about their family or their friends or their hobbies.
I have a male friend who only talks about sex. He goes cool places on the weekends and has a pretty interesting life..I don't care if he wants to sleep with me - cuz it's not going to happen, but what good is talking about all the time??? Is nothing else interesting in this world that every conversation eventually leads to sex? Are men that bored???
