Question by IMONABOAT!: Why are kids having sex at a younger age?What provokes them initially?

I am required to perform a survey question for my human sexuality class, and I'm really looking for the opinion of adolescents between the ages of 14-17. I legally cant perform a survey at a school, or community center without permission of the students parents, and asking people over the age of 18 wouldn't really answer my question.Would you care to answer? And if you do, can you state your age and Gender? Thank you!

I'm 20 but my little sister lost her virginity 2 days ago. She's 15 and I was in shock.

Apparently she did it because she loves her boyfriend and wanted to take their relationship to the next level. Basically she wanted to show him how much she cared and that this relationship was something serious.

I think this is her first boyfriend that lasted more than a month (I don't think they've been dating much longer than that) and although I want to chop his boy bits off, it was her choice and I'm just glad she was responsible enough to use a condom. I think they're having sex at younger ages these days because they are dating at younger ages. For some reason some think that sex defines the meaning of their relationship... that's what I think anyway.
