Want, Baby, Sudden, surprised

All of a sudden I want to be surprised with the sex of my baby?

I used to be opposed to such an idea- But in thinking about it- I almost dont want to know the sex- Little things are left in this world for a joyous suprise. Im going to get alot of grief- Personally I do think the baby shower will be boring if i dont know the sex- as I like pink and purples for girls and Blues and greens for boys.... What do you think? Has anyone gone through not knowing? Or regretted knowing because you lose the suprise factor?

My sister didn't know throughout her first pregnancy, and enjoyed the thrill of not knowing... A lot of baby showers pre-baby have greens, yellows, and other neutrals. You could wait and have the baby shower after, and that way people could see the baby, and not have so many visitors at your house as soon as you get home... Then you might also get more of the things you wanted!
